About the event
This project seeks, through a musical narrative, to offer a free interpretation of “The Seven Trials of Rostam,” one of the epic-mythological stories of the Shahnameh. To achieve this aim, ideas from the modalities of Iranian music have been combined with contemporary compositional approaches and electronic sounds, creating a new auditory experience in the realm of mythological-artistic Storytelling from the Shahnameh—without adhering strictly to a mere retelling of the original story.
