About me
Jaime Estévez Moreira (Vigo, Spain, 2001) is a young musician and educator dedicated to exploring art from a versatile perspective through the voice of his two main instruments: the saxophone and the Galician bagpipes.
His musical path combines academic training with oral tradition, a dual approach that has shaped his understanding of music. This background has led him to engage in a wide range of experiences, including the performance of contemporary saxophone repertoire, participation in traditional music ensembles, exploration of free improvisation, performance of solo and orchestral repertoire, and collaboration with numerous chamber music groups.
Jaime views art as a shared experience and therefore promotes community-based projects that encourage dialogue and collective learning. His main focus areas are chamber music, especially with the saxophone quartet Lítore Quartet, and the premiere of new works in close collaboration with contemporary composers.
